Our Mission Statement

The Gary Greene Foundation was founded in 1994 and works to bring meaningful change to communities and individuals through a diverse array of causes – from research to fight cancer to education and social services to cultural, historical and civic institutions. Since the foundation’s inception, our agents and employees have been guided by the belief that everyone has a responsibility to give back and serve others by investing one’s talent and time to make a difference in the communities we serve.

Triumph Over Kid Cancer

The Gary Greene Foundation is proud to support Triumph Over Kid Cancer.  The Triumph Over Kid Cancer foundation is dedicated to improving the lives of children with cancer by raising their spirits, raising the public’s awareness, and funding research to improve the treatment and survivability of pediatric cancers.

Rebuilding Together® Houston

The Gary Greene Foundation is proud to support Rebuilding Together Houston.  Rebuilding Together Houston restores hope and revitalizes neighborhoods by repairing homes at no cost for low-income elderly homeowners.  Through the work of volunteers and with the support of public and private-sector initiatives, we enhance the quality of life for deserving seniors, strengthen the communities in which they live, and build a brighter future for Houston.

Gary Greene agents have a history of helping this great cause. In January 2018, over 300 Better Homes and Garden Real Estate Gary Greene agents came together for Rebuilding Houston's latest project, where we and our Gibraltar Group worked on improving homes in the Independence Heights Community in the wake of hurricane Harvey. For more information: http://www.rebuildinghouston.org/

Souper Bowl of Caring

The Gary Greene Foundation is proud to support the Souper Bowl of Caring.  This charity works to mobilize those looking to fight hunger and poverty in their own communities’ around the time of the NFL Super Bowl Football Game annually. The money and food collected during the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl are dispersed to local charities throughout Houston.

Cy-Fair Education Foundation

The Gary Greene Foundation is proud to support the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation. The funds raised by the foundation are used to increase college access for graduates of Cy-Fair ISD by awarding scholarships and to promote excellence in teaching by providing staff development grants. Our 9th Annual Client Appreciation Party, held at the CyHope grounds of the Northwest Forest Conference Center, was the third in a seven year endowment commitment to the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation. With the support of local businesses, we treated over 2,300 guests to live music, entertainment, and thousands of pounds of crawfish, all as thanks to our clients and their families, friends, and neighbors. We’re proud to announce that the success of this event raised $10,000 for the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation, a considerable donation for the organization to continue doing the important work they do for the talented, motivated, yet underprivileged students of Cy-Fair ISD. As Houston’s oldest real estate firm, we see giving back to the Houston community as one of our obligations, and we are proud to continue our commitment to supporting the Cy-Fair Educational Foundation.

The Sunshine Kids
The Gary Greene Foundation is a past sponsor of The Sunshine Kids. The Sunshine Kids Foundation adds quality of life to children with cancer by providing them with exciting, positive group activities, so they may once again do what kids are supposed to do – have fun and celebrate life! Since the inception of this partnership, many Better Homes and Garden Real Estate Gary Greene managers, brokers and agents have generously assisted the Sunshine Kids by planning exciting fund-raising events, participating in the ‘listings’ program, and taking an active role in activities and national events designed for the Kids.  We have donated more than $4 million to the Sunshine Kids.
