RULES
- Applicable Laws: Federal, State and Local laws are to be obeyed by tournament participants at all times - ALL FISHERMEN MUST PURCHASE AT LEAST A 1 DAY SALTWATER FISHING LICENSE (link to purchase on FAQ page)
- Tournament Fishing Waters: Entire Galveston Bay Complex including the surf from High Island to the Freeport jetties.
- Launch Site: Anywhere in the Galveston Bay Complex
- Times: Fishing begins no earlier than 6 AM. The weigh-in at Waterman's Marina opens at 11:30 AM and closes at 1 PM. At least one member from each team must be in line no later than 1 PM. NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Divisions: Artificial or live bait may be used. Guides’ fish are allowed as part of the combined team stringer. A guide may not contribute to any individual category.
- A full stringer will consist of 3 fish (2 trout + 1 redfish). The redfish must measure between the slot (20-28 inches). We are encouraging all teams to retain only the fish needed for weigh-in. It is the responsibility of each team and individual to choose the fish they will be weighing in before entering the weigh-in line. Any individual entered in one of the side pots may include their fish in the team stringer.

- Heaviest Team Stringer – 2 Trout (minimum 15 inches - only 1 trout over 25 in. per boat) + 1 Redfish (20-28 inches) OR 3 Trout (minimum 15 inches and only 1 of the 3 can be over 25 inches)
- Individual Side Pots:
- Biggest Trout
- Biggest Flounder
- Biggest Redfish (20-28 Inches)
- In the event of a tie, the first team or individual to weigh in their fish will prevail.
- Only fish caught during the tournament hours (6 AM – 12:30 PM on September 9, 2022) may be weighed in.
- Wading and drift-fishing are both allowed.
- All fish must be caught with rod and reel according to TPWD regulations.
Lunch will be served during the weigh-in. A cash bar will also be available.
